- SGAV website [ Danish ]
The Danish Environmental Protection Agency administers the environmental regulations applicable to the contained use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in research and production.
GMOs intended for food and feed use must be authorized in the EU. Consequently, the same rules apply to all EU countries. The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration checks whether GMO regulations are being complied with in Denmark.
