The Central Administration of Laboratories is one of the central departments of the preventive and endemic affairs sector. Through its central laboratories, the Department provides many preventive, diagnostic and environmental services in accordance with the policies of the Ministry of Health and Population, aiming at achieving integrated health care for citizens.
The central laboratories are the reference laboratory of the Ministry of Health and Population laboratories. There is a network of regional laboratories in all provincial capitals technically follow the central administration of laboratories and administrative directorates of health affairs in the provinces
