Documents needed in preparation for the Discussion Groups (22 June - 6 July 2009)

Dear Chairs of the SWGs,
According to the Action Plan agreed on during the AHTEG meeting, we have reached the one-month mark till the beginning of the first Discussion Groups under the Online Forum.
The four Discussion Groups (i.e. one for each AHTEG Sub-working Group) will take place from 22 June to 6 July 2009 in the Open-ended Online Expert Forum on Risk Assessment and Risk Management at
http://bch.cbd.int/onlineconferences/discussiongroups_ra.shtml. During this period, experts registered in the Online Forum will provide input to the work of the AHTEG Sub-working Groups.
As per the action plan agreed in Montreal, I would kindly like to draw your attention to the following material that must be produced by each SWG and sent to the Secretariat as soon as possible but no later than 8 June 2009:
SWG on the Roadmap:
a. Introduction to the work of the SWG;
b. Advance draft of the roadmap; and
c. Questions to be put forward to the discussion group.
SWGs on Abiotic Stress, Mosquitoes and Stacked Genes:
a. Initial outline of the guidance documents (i.e. on the topic of the SWG);
b. Initial bibliography on the topics; and
c. Questions to be put forward to the discussion groups in the Open-ended Online Expert Forum on Risk Assessment and Risk Management.
