About the AHTEG Portal
This portal is designed to assist the AHTEG on Risk Assessment and Rik Management in its tasks. In this page a Discussion Group/Listserver is open to all AHTEG members and will automatically send the posted messages to all the participants of the AHTEG Portal.
Dedicated pages in the AHTEG Portal host specific Discussion Groups/Listservers that are shared by the members of each Sub-working Group (SWG). Postings in these dedicated Discussion Groups/Listservers is limited to members of the specific SWG, but may be read in the Portal by all AHTEG participants and invited experts.
A
Document Exchange section, composed by five different sub-sections (one general and four dedicated to each of the four SWGs) is also available in this Portal to allow AHTEG members and invited experts to upload and download relevant documents.

Sub-working Groups
At its third meeting, the AHTEG established two Sub-working Groups (SWGs; on "Monitoring" and "LM Trees") to focus topics prioritized for the development of new guidance. At its first meeting, the AHTEG established four SWGs ("Roadmap", "LMOs with Stacked Genes or Traits", "LM Crops Resistant or Tolerant to Abiotic Stress" and "LM Mosquitoes").

The AHTEG also agreed in its
action plan to involve, through
ad hoc online discussion groups and real-time online conferences, the participants of the Open-ended Online Forum.
