Dear BCH users,

Thank you for all  your feedback in response to the test assignment on Experts. We are working on implementing your suggestions.

In this next assignment we would like to ask for your help in testing the Grouping and Sorting display functions/features of the new platform.

Please note that we at the Secretariat have not tested these features extensively ourselves. We will be doing this test together with you. Your feedback and your impressions are greatly appreciated, as usual.

The Grouping and Sorting display functions/features are located in the Search interface and they enable you to organize and display search results according to your selected preferences.

Dear Anastacia,

I just watched the video tutorial on grouping and sorting and took note of the suggested three scenarios (just had difficulty in watching the video since the texts are too small, but the instructions are clear).

For Scenario 1 (no filter)  -  I was able to generate the information based on "Group" and "List"  view type, and I did not encounter any issue/problem.

For Scenario 2 (select record type) - still no problem or issue for both "Group" and "List" view type

For Scenario 3 (select record type for filter and  click a record and play the display function) - no issue or problem.

For Sorting - I noticed that the "relevance" is a stand-alone sorting option and cannot be combined with the other three options (Last Update, Record Type, and Country). Is it possible to also include the "relevance" in the combination of sorting options or it is really designed "as is".

Like Ruel, I had trouble watching the video because the font is small and not focuses.
Yet, with the BCH open on a tab next to it, I was able to follow.
The grouping and sorting worked fine.
One thing: once you have clicked the option “Group” and you want to come back to that window that allows you to select government, record type and submission year, then you haveto go back to default first

I did all three scenarios and they worked fine, but I noticed the same issues with the Relevance (how is it determined actually) and the switch between the views as already mentioned.

Dear Anastasia,

when trying to group first by record type and then by government, the result shows only one page (this happens with all records and with national records).

Regarding the sorting option I would like to know, how I can undo my sorting. Although I can remove all selected filters, it would be nice to have one button to do this.

the sorting and grouping worked fine for me.

One more general point: I still would find it more intuitive if the grey box that opens up for choosing, for example, the record type you want to see displayed, would automatically close after having made my chioce. Otherwise, I'm never quite sure if the system took my choice and filtered the results accordingly.

Other than that, it worked fine after some trying.
