Support for Implementation of the National Biosafety Framework for Tunisia

Tunisia was one of the 18 countries that participated in the pilot UNEP/GEF Project on the Development of the National Biosafety Framework (Project GF/1200-89-86 MEAT/GEF/UNEP). The draft National Biosafety Regulatory Framework is the main output of the pilot phase. Since the completion of the project, Tunisia has made further progress by fine-tuning its National Biosafety Framework (NBF).
