Codex Alimentarius Commission (Joint FAO/WHO Food Standards Programme)

The Codex Alimentarius Commission was created in 1962 by FAO and WHO to develop food standards and related texts such as codes of practice under the Joint FAO/WHO Food Standards Programme.
