Flax modified for tolerance to fungal diseases and/or insect pests
EN
Unknown
No
Flax and linseed plants were genetically modified to introduce a gene (SPI-2) coding for an inhibitor of serine-type proteases with the aim to enhance the tolerance of flax plants to fungal diseases and/or insect pests.
EN
The term “Recipient organism” refers to an organism (either already modified or non-modified) that was subjected to genetic modification, whereas “Parental organisms” refers to those that were involved in cross breeding or cell fusion.
