Regulations of the Law on the Moratorium on the Entry and Production of Living Modified Organisms

The purpose of this regulation is give the provisions contained in Law No. 29811, Law that establishes the moratorium on the entry and production of living modified organisms (LMOs) into the national territory for a period of ten years, in accordance with the term established by Law No. 31111, which extends the moratorium until December 31, 2035.
The moratorium does not apply to LMOs for food, feed and processing, LMOs for contained use, and LMOs that are pharmaceutical or veterinary products.
