Eucalyptus grandis is used for timber and paper pulp production. The wood can be used to produce charcoal. Wood mulch and bark particles can be used as a fuel. Eucalyptus trees are also grown for their essential oils.
In agroforestry plantations, clones are used and more commonly used a hybrid with Eucalyptus urophylla. In apiculture, the tree blossoms regularly but usually provides only small honey surpluses. The main nectar value is as a supporting species.
