Dear participants,

There is now a progress map as a monitoring mechanism to ensure that monitoring of the implementation of the programme of work on public awareness, education and participation regarding LMOs can be done on a regular basis. Governments are welcome to send a message to ulrika.nilsson@cbd.int for any updates on the map.

Part of the initiative is recommended by moderators of the online discussion on public awareness regarding LMOs to have an interactive monitoring mechanism on awareness-raising of LMOs. The map is extended to experiences also in other issues under Article 23 of the Protocol.
