Dear participants,

Thank you all very much for your contributions to the discussions and for your active participation. Discussion group 1 and 2 are now closed. Please note that all the postings from discussion group 1 and 2 will remain in the Portal.

A synthesis of the information shared through the discussion groups may be prepared and made available through the PAEP portal and may be used in future training activities.

We look forward to your continued contribution to the implementation of the programme of work on public awareness, education and participation concerning the safe transfer, handling and use of LMOs. In accordance with the programme of work, we invite you to conduct a baseline surveys to ascertain the level of public awareness and evaluate public awareness of the issues regarding LMOs and to share the analysis of the surveys in the BCH.
